For thousands of years, I pursued and searched, across galaxy after galaxy, for Bad Axe-man. I witnessed firsthand his wrath, but I also found hope in those who survived.
He molested galaxies for amusement. He could have destroyed all, but he took pleasure in torture. In those he left behind, I found supporters. They encouraged and facilitated my search, even though most believed it futile.
Among those supporters and allies, Lance Great and Prince Freedom were my closest confidants. They called me Captain Elite and that name stuck with me. I called to them when I learned of Bad Axe-man’s location.
Lance Great was the champion of a system of planets. Before his encounter with Bad Axe-man, Lance had secured those planets for thousands of years. About 15,000 years before I meet Lance, he had fought against Bad Axe-man, and though Lance was very powerful, Bad Axe-man defeated him.
Lance lay on the brink of death after their battle, but Bad Axe-man spared him to illustrate to the system of planets that Lance Great was no longer a champion. Bad Axe-man used this to humiliate Lance. Then, as sudden as Bad Axe-man had come upon them, he left.
Lance slowly recovered. He spent many years helping the system of planets restore their former security and prosperity that had prevailed before Bad Axe-man. Those people on that system of planets still considered Lance Great their champion, but Lance was not satisfied. He vowed to track down and kill Bad Axe-man. In that purpose, we shared a mutual rapport and became fast friends.
Lance carried a sword and shield made from a rare gold-like element called Argstrom. The element, once forged, is nearly indestructible. Unlike me, he possessed great powers. These included super strength, great durability, and some limited telepathy. He flew on a space chariot.
Due to our rapport, all I needed to do was think, and Lance’s telepathy could hear me. When he heard I found Bad Axe-man, he immediately set out to meet me.
