Enter Imagination: Part 6: Origin of Prince Freedom

Prince Freedom descended from a long line of Royal Heroes that protected their galaxy from Volgar and the Army of Conquest. When Bad Axe-man arrived in Prince Freedom’s galaxy, the tide turned against those heroes.

Volgar bowed to Bad Axe-man and became his agent. Bad Axe-man destroyed the Royal House of Heroes. Prince Freedom and a small band of heroes survived only by chance, because they were in a neighboring galaxy establishing a colony there.

When Prince Freedom returned to his galaxy the Bad Axe-man had already left. Prince Freedom and his band of Royal Heroes began a war of resistance against Volgar and the Army of Conquest. Bad Axe-man had ravaged the galaxy and slain over 1,000,000 very powerful super beings and over 5,000,000 minor super beings.

When I met Prince Freedom we instantly became friends, and he agreed to help me if I ever found Bad Axe-man. When I notified him with the news of Bad Axe-man’s location, Prince Freedom honored his word.

Prince was not as powerful as Lance in the physical sense, but he had many great attributes. He had super high intelligence and was a very clever inventor. He devised many weapons to battle against Volgar and the Army of Conquest. Those weapons would also be used against Bad Axe-man.

Enter Imagination: Part 5: Origin of Lance Great

For thousands of years, I pursued and searched, across galaxy after galaxy, for Bad Axe-man. I witnessed firsthand his wrath, but I also found hope in those who survived.

He molested galaxies for amusement. He could have destroyed all, but he took pleasure in torture. In those he left behind, I found supporters. They encouraged and facilitated my search, even though most believed it futile.

Among those supporters and allies, Lance Great and Prince Freedom were my closest confidants. They called me Captain Elite and that name stuck with me. I called to them when I learned of Bad Axe-man’s location.

Lance Great was the champion of a system of planets. Before his encounter with Bad Axe-man, Lance had secured those planets for thousands of years. About 15,000 years before I meet Lance, he had fought against Bad Axe-man, and though Lance was very powerful, Bad Axe-man defeated him.

Lance lay on the brink of death after their battle, but Bad Axe-man spared him to illustrate to the system of planets that Lance Great was no longer a champion. Bad Axe-man used this to humiliate Lance. Then, as sudden as Bad Axe-man had come upon them, he left.

Lance slowly recovered. He spent many years helping the system of planets restore their former security and prosperity that had prevailed before Bad Axe-man. Those people on that system of planets still considered Lance Great their champion, but Lance was not satisfied. He vowed to track down and kill Bad Axe-man. In that purpose, we shared a mutual rapport and became fast friends.

Lance carried a sword and shield made from a rare gold-like element called Argstrom. The element, once forged, is nearly indestructible. Unlike me, he possessed great powers. These included super strength, great durability, and some limited telepathy. He flew on a space chariot.

Due to our rapport, all I needed to do was think, and Lance’s telepathy could hear me. When he heard I found Bad Axe-man, he immediately set out to meet me.

Enter Imagination: Part 4: The Search Bears Fruit

The voice came from far away, but I heard it clearly in my mind. The voice told me its story…

“We call him Bad Ax. It’s not certain where he came from or how he got his powers, but his arrival here on Earth signaled a devastating fate for us. He is our God now. He has the power to spare us or destroy us, but I do not see any salvation from this cruel God.  It has been 10 years since his arrival, and he has imposed his will. We are afraid, but we dare not pray for fear that he will hear our thoughts.”

I finally knew the location of Bad Axe-man, but I did not know how to defy him.

Enter Imagination: Part 3: Food and Drink

I prayed for another super nova from any nearby star, but my new salvation came from a passing starship. They pulled me aboard. They gave me food, drink, and companionship, things which I had not partaken in over 100 millennium.

I explained my story, and my fate shocked them. I described Bad Axe-man to them, and they knew of him. Their home galaxy had felt his wrath, though he did not destroy everyone there. They told me stories of many worlds and many peoples who had been destroyed or tortured by him. However, my planet was unknown to them. My past was too distant for them.  I traveled with them several years before we spilt ways.

I spent thousands of years searching and following the trail of devastation left by Bad Axe-man. He destroyed and tortured planets for no reason. I spent over a 100 thousand years searching for him, when finally, I heard a voice in my mind.
